Editorial Standards & Methodology

Tijaraat.pk publishes free import, tax-literacy, and e-commerce planning tools for Pakistani entrepreneurs. This page explains how we build estimates, what we will never claim, and how to report mistakes.

What we publish

  • Interactive calculators for planning (customs, marketplace fees, PTA DIRBS estimates)
  • Guides and blog explainers with internal links to tools
  • Supplier directory research listings with clear verification labels

Primary sources we prefer

  • Official regulators and portals (for example PTA DIRBS, FBR public sites)
  • Platform seller documentation when modeling marketplace fees
  • Public tariff / trade education materials for HS/PCT context

When a tool is an estimate, we link the official verification path instead of pretending we have a live government API.

Calculator limitations

  • PTA / DIRBS: illustrative C&F slabs only — payable tax is confirmed on official DIRBS for each IMEI.
  • FBR ATL helper: format validation + educational withholding comparison — live ATL status is only on FBR systems.
  • Daraz / customs tools: planning models with editable rates; Seller Center / broker confirmation required before commercial decisions.

Review cadence

High-traffic regulatory tools and PTA model pages show a last reviewed date. We revisit assumptions when policy notices change or users flag material errors. Between reviews, rates can diverge from live official schedules.

Corrections

Found an outdated rate or broken official link? Email contact@tijaraat.pk or use our contact form with the page URL and a source link. Material corrections are prioritized for regulatory tools.

Independence & disclosures
